Anthony Joshua vs Kristian Prenga undercard in full: Hamzah Sheeraz stars as two title bouts feature in Saudi Arabia

Anthony Joshua and Kristian Prenga highlight a jam-packed card of action taking place in Saudi Arabia this Saturday night.

Joshua is taking on the Albanian heavyweight in a preparation bout for his long-awaited blockbuster clash with Tyson Fury.

The two-time heavyweight world champion returns to the ring, having not fought since beating Jake Paul in December.

This is also the first time that AJ has taken a fight since losing two of his team members and close friends in a tragic car crash.

Joshua and Prenga have the main event slot on what is going to be an emotional evening for those involved with the Brit.

But there are plenty of other big fights happening in the build-up as part of a very busy card of boxing action…

Joshua vs Prenga undercard in full

Hamzah Sheeraz (23-0-1) is the main star fighting on the Joshua vs Prenga undercard, taking on Simon Zachenhuber.

Sheeraz will defend his WBO super middleweight title in Saudi Arabia for the first time since claiming it against Alem Begic.

The British star has been heavily linked with a bout against one of boxing’s greatest in Canelo Alvarez, so retaining his belt against Zachenhuber will move him one step closer to that fight.

His German opponent has won 29 of his 30 career bouts, losing for the first time last time out against Pawel Augustynik.

Augustynik is facing Jacob Bank, who has a record of 19-0-0, winning 11 of his fights via knockout.

Elsewhere on the card, Josh Kelly will also be defending his IBF super welterweight title against Caoimhin Agyarko.

This will be Kelly’s first title defence too, having pulled off an upset over Bakhram Murtazaliev last time out for the belt.

He boasts a record of 18-1-1, while his opponent Agyarko has never lost, winning all 18 of his professional bouts so far.

Youth amateur world champion Reito Tsutsumi and rising Brit star Mikie Tallon are on the card too, facing Alvino Herrera Meza and Orlando Pino respectively.

2024 Olympic gold medallist Oleksandr Khyzhniak is also featuring, taking on Lenny Patrach in his second pro bout.

Meanwhile, Indian boxer Nishant Dev (9-2-0) faces 10-2 Cesar Diaz.

Local Saudi Arabian boxers Ziyad Almaayouf, Mohammed Alakel, and Sultan Almohammed are in action as well.

Joshua vs Prenga: talkSPORT coverage

Joshua vs Prenga will take place on Saturday, July 25 at Jeddah Superdome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The undercard is set to get going from 6pm, with the main event expected at around 11pm.

talkSPORT will have live commentary of the fight with John Rawling, Paul Smith, Spencer Oliver and Adam Catterall.

Coverage starts at 7pm on the talkSPORT App and from 10pm on talkSPORT for the main event.
