My first pick is for Saturday’s clash not to last the distance.

In this market, you’re not too interested in which fighter wins or when, as long as we don’t hear the final bell and this one doesn’t go to points. An early KO for Joshua pays the same as a dramatic late stoppage.

It’s worth remembering that AJ boasts a near-90% knockout average. The fight not to last the distance was settled as a winner in each of the Englishman’s last five appearances.

Joshua has campaigned at a much higher level than his opponent, mixing it with the likes of Daniel Dubois, Oleksandr Usyk, Andy Ruiz, Joseph Parker, and Wladimir Klitschko, to name but a few. That’s hard-earned, top-level experience.

The 2012 Olympic Games gold medallist and two-time unified world heavyweight champion is ranked seventh in the world, with Prenga down in 35th. 

There are levels to boxing, and we’ll be reminded of that this weekend.

An early win is favourite, but I don’t expect AJ, with all his experience, to go hunting for the stoppage. After being stopped twice in four defeats, Anthony knows he must keep it professional against a rival with heavy hands. Things can unravel quickly in this game.

Many of Joshua’s early wins came in the opening few rounds. You may remember he battered former UFC world heavyweight champion Ngannou inside two rounds. However, recent results show that the 6’ 6” orthodox boxer is pacing himself with age.

Backing Joshua to win in rounds 6-10 paid out when he beat Jake Paul in round six last time out. It was also a smart bet when finishing Robert Helenius in round seven.
