Amanda Staveley locked out of West Ham ownership as Daniel Kretinsky becomes majority shareholder
David Kretinsky has agreed a deal with the Gold family to become West Ham’s majority shareholder, talkSPORT understands.
As such, Amanda Staveley, who helped lead the 2024 takeover of Newcastle, has effectively been blocked from buying a stake in the Hammers.

talkSPORT also understands David Sullivan has increased his ownership of the club to 40 per cent.
Following the death of co-chairman David Gold in 2023, his daughter Vanessa took control of a 25.1 per cent share in the club.
Czech businessman Kretinsky first invested in West Ham back in 2021.
His stake is now set to increase beyond the 38.8 per cent held by Sullivan.
talkSPORT reported last month that Kretinsky had reduced his stake from 27 per cent to below 25 per cent in an effort to prevent Staveley from investing.
The billionaire is believed to have sold part of his share to fellow Czech Jakub Havrlant.
A consortium led by Staveley had been eyeing up the Gold family’s stake, worth around £150m.
Sullivan was forced to step down as West Ham chairman in June after accusations of sexual abuse were made against him.
