Many would say Liverpool‘s last-gasp winner against Nottingham Forest on Sunday was daylight robbery. The stats from the first half of the game at City Ground, probably back that up too.

The Reds now host another relegation-threatened side in West Ham on Saturday, eyeing up a fourth win in their last five Premier League matches.

It would apply pressure on Manchester United and Chelsea above them as the three clubs vie for Champions League qualification.

The Hammers have found a new lease of life since the turn of the year, losing only once in the league since the FA Cup third round.

Nuno Espirito Santo has found the formula in midfield to be competitive and has forwards Taty Castellanos and Crysensio Summerville in fine form.

Bolton hope to crack a three-game drawing streak, including their 2-2 draw in the Lancashire derby against Blackpool.

The Trotters sit in third spot in League One and face an Exeter side firmly in mid-table, having not won a match for over a month.

Bolton are heavy favourites to triumph and consolidate their spot in the playoffs, with Lincoln (10) and Cardiff (11) points further ahead.

Mason Burstow has scored two goals in his last two appearances and could be the man to fire Bolton to victory.

Motherwell are the dark horse in this Scottish Premiership title race. Well, if not dark horse, then the team nobody wants to face right now.

They’ve drawn with Rangers and Hearts, beat Celtic and smashed five goals past St. Mirren in their last outing. They are 10 points off top with a game in hand.

Before any realistic title talk can happen, they take on Dundee United this weekend who are on patchy run of form, not picking up much forward momentum.

The ‘Well will be favourites to win again and ruffle some feathers above them.

Hearts beat Falkirk last Saturday and the pieces fell into place on Sunday to mean they finished the weekend four points clear at the Scottish Premiership summit.

It was the best response to losing that chaotic game to Rangers the week before, and sets them up well for the visit of eighth-placed Aberdeen on Saturday.

With the Old Firm derby on Sunday, this is the perfect time to heap even more pressure on Scotland’s big two ahead of the heated encounter at Ibrox.
