Brentford v Sunderland (Sat, 3pm)

Brentford have made a storming start to the new Premier League season, picking up where they left off last season following their ninth placed finish, matching the club’s highest ever league finish in history.

Keith Andrews’ side have picked up four points from their opening two matches this season, including a notable 3-0 win over Tottenham on the first day of the season, followed by a 6-1 thrashing of Championship side Birmingham in the Carabao Cup away from home, and currently sit in the top five in the Premier League table.

Sunderland, meanwhile sit down in the bottom half of the table at this early stage having fallen to a 2-1 defeat on the opening weekend against a newly promoted Ipswich side.

The Black Cats are winless away from home against the Bees in 39 years.

Prediction: Brentford to win – 4/7

Brighton vs Leeds (Sat, 3pm)

Brighton are the Premier League’s joint leading scoring team after the opening couple of weeks of the new campaign, following up a 4-0 win over Aston Villa with a thrilling 4-3 defeat at Chelsea last weekend.

Including their Conference League play off, Fabian Hurzeler’s side have won both of their matches at the Amex Stadium this season by 4-0 scorelines, a formidable record they will be looking to extend on Saturday afternoon.

Leeds have never beaten Brighton away from home since the Seagulls made the move to the Amex Stadium in 2011, a run spanning 10 matches, of which the last eight have produced a combined scoreline of 15-0.

Prediction: Brighton to win – 20/23

• Leeds – 14/5

Manchester City vs Coventry (Sat, 3pm)

A team with a 100% record hosts a team with a 0% record on Saturday afternoon as Premier League leaders Manchester City go head to head with newly promoted Coventry.

Enzo Maresca’s side shot to the top of the table following their 4-1 win at Crystal Palace last weekend to follow on from their 2-1 win over Bournemouth on the opening weekend.

Meanwhile, Frank Lampard’s side fell to a demoralising victory at home against fellow newly promoted side Hull in their first home game in the Premier League in 25 years, a week after losing 3-0 to reigning champions Arsenal in the season’s curtain raiser.

Prediction: Manchester City to win – 2/13

• Coventry – 12/1

Nottingham Forest vs Tottenham (Sat, 3pm)

Nottingham Forest will be looking to make it five consecutive victories over Tottenham on Saturday afternoon as they look to build on their positive performance at Anfield last weekend that saw them return home with a 2-2 draw.

Spurs, on the other hand, currently find themselves joint bottom of the Premier League table after a 3-0 defeat at Brentford on the opening day was followed by a 2-0 loss at home against Newcastle.

Prediction: Nottingham Forest to win – 7/5
