A’ja Wilson makes WNBA history in Aces’ win vs. Storm
The Las Vegas Aces welcomed the Seattle Storm at T-Mobile Arena on Monday. The weather forecast was cloudy with a chance of A’ja Wilson setting a new record.
Wilson showed no mercy in pummeling the Storm, finishing with a near triple-double of 34 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists on top of three blocks to lead the Aces to the victory, 101-91.
Las Vegas tallied its fourth straight win and improved to 8-3. Seattle, on the other hand, suffered its sixth consecutive loss and dropped to 3-10.
According to ESPN, Wilson became the fastest player in league history to reach 6,000 points, doing it in just 278 games.

The four-time MVP is averaging all-around norms of 25.9 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.1 steals, and 2.4 blocks.
She became the 19th player in league history to score 6,000 points.
The Aces will return to action on Thursday against the Portland Fire.
