Why IShowSpeed is scared about upcoming WWE WrestleMania 42 match

A few days ago, fans across the globe witnessed IShowSpeed get unwillingly dragged into The Vision’s rivalry with The Usos. Last week, fans saw Speed drop LA Knight with brass knuckles on Monday Night RAW and later cost The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) their tag team titles against Logan Paul and Austin Theory of The Vision.

What followed up was arguably one of the most interesting buildups to this year’s WrestleMania. Later, LA Knight broke into Speed’s house and caused a wreck that included throwing the young streamer into his own PC set.

Currently cursed by Danhausen, Speed later found himself involved in the ongoing rivalry. While looking forward to escaping the chaos, fans currently see Speed dragged more into it. However, things finally took a turn when WWE announced Speed’s official WrestleMania match. IShowSpeed is now set to tag with Logan Paul and Austin Theory to face The Usos and LA Knight. Speaking on his livestream, Speed responded to the news of his upcoming WrestleMania bout (via Fightful).

“I can’t even get the words out of my mouth because I’m so excited. I’m going to be wrestling at WrestleMania. I’m not gonna lie to ya’ll…am I scared? Yeah, bro. I would have never thought that I was going to be wrestling at WrestleMania like this,” Speed said.

“I’m gonna be honest, from a genuine, as ya’ll know, I’ve been watching wrestling since I was six or seven. Genuinely, I’ve been a fan of WWE since was [does small gesture]. I think that was the first sport I actually got introduced to. WWE was like the first thing I actually got into. This is crazy. Me, personally, this is one of those crazy moments.”

Speed made his official in-ring debut last year in the 2025 Royal Rumble. He proceeded to eliminate Otis before getting speared by Bron Breakker and then tossed out of the ring by the former Intercontinental Champion.
