When is England’s next group game at 2026 World Cup? Date, UK time and location for Ghana clash
England will have five days off before their second World Cup group game next week.
Thomas Tuchel’s Three Lions are among the favourites to lift the trophy in North America this summer and will be determined to make a strong start in Group L.

England take on Croatia in Dallas at 9pm tonight and commentary will be live on talkSPORT.
Tuchel and co geared up for the tournament with back-to-back warm-up wins in Florida, where they based themselves to acclimatise to the heat of the USA.
Harry Kane scored the winner in a 1-0 victory over New Zealand before goals from Declan Rice, Anthony Gordon and Ollie Watkins saw off Costa Rica.
After facing Croatia, who won the last World Cup meeting between the nations in the 2018 semi-finals, England face Ghana and Panama in their remaining two group games.
England vs Ghana: Date and how to follow
Up next for England will be a clash with four-time AFCON champions Ghana on Tuesday, June 23.
The game will again kick-off at 9pm BST, 4pm local.
It will be played at Gillette Stadium in Boston, home to six-time Super Bowl winners the New England Patriots.
Boasting a capacity of almost 65,000, the stadium was the scene of Scotland’s triumphant return to the World Cup with a 1-0 win over Haiti in their opening match last weekend.
England vs Ghana follows the Group K clash between Portugal and Uzbekistan which kicks off at 6pm.
Panama then take on Croatia at midnight in the day’s other Group L encounter, before Colombia meet DR Congo in Group K at 3am.

This will be only the second meeting between England and Ghana – and the first in a competitive international.
Their only previous encounter came back in March 2011 in a friendly at Wembley which finished 1-1.
Andy Carroll opened the scoring for Fabio Capello’s Three Lions that night with his first England goal, but Asamoah Gyan bagged a stoppage-time equaliser for the visitors.
England have faced African opposition on eight previous occasions at the World Cup, never losing.
The most recent such game came in the last 16 of the 2022 World Cup as Jordan Henderson, Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka scored in a 3-0 win over Senegal.
