Wayne Rooney left concerned by what Arsenal did seconds after booking Champions League final spot
Arsenal have been handed a brutal warning by Wayne Rooney following their post-match celebrations against Atletico Madrid.
The Gunners booked their spot in the Champions League final with a 1-0 win at the Emirates Stadium.

Bukayo Saka’s first half goal proved to be the difference between the two sides on Tuesday night as the Gunners won 2-1 on aggregate.
His strike sees Arsenal into their first Champions League final for 20 years.
Mikel Arteta’s side will now face either Paris Saint-Germain or Bayern Munich in Budapest on Saturday, May 30.
Following the final whistle, there were jubilant scenes on the pitch and in the stands as players and fans celebrated the victory.
Meanwhile, fireworks were set off at the top of Arsenal’s home to mark the achievement from the Premier League leaders.
However, Rooney, a one-time Champions League winner, immediately revealed his concerns over the manner of the home side’s celebrations.
Speaking on Amazon Prime’s coverage, the former Manchester United forward quipped: “The celebrations are a bit too much. They’ve not won it yet.”
His fellow pundit Theo Walcott was in awe of the atmosphere inside the Emirates Stadium, though, after seeing his old side advance.
Walcott explained: “Incredible scenes here. I’ve never seen the Emirates quite like it – that connection with the fans we talk about…
“Some people here weren’t even born when they last got to the final and it’s one of those now ‘can they go that one step further?’ Maybe they are the team that can do it this year.”

Saka and Rice react
Match-winner Saka echoed Walcott’s remarks as he spoke to Amazon Prime on the pitch following the final whistle.
The England international said: “It is so beautiful. You see what it means to us and what it means to the fans.
“We’re so happy. Easier said than done. This game was a high-pressure game. It means a lot to both sides.
“We managed to manage it well, and take ourselves to the final. It started before the game when we were arriving on the coach. I have never seen anything like it.
“Sometimes it bounces for you, and sometimes it doesn’t, but you have to be there, and I was there, I got my goal.
“There is no way you are going to come to this position and not have pressure. How can you not expect people to talk about you and criticise you? That’s why we have got to block it out.

“It is a beautiful story and I hope it ends well in Budapest.”
Declan Rice added: “It is chaos [in the dressing room]. I don’t think you can underestimate what we have done in this competition up to this point. I think we have every right to celebrate that moment.
“The most prestigious competition in club football. We are just trying to soak it all in.
“We knew coming into the game what was at stake. If you can’t get up for that, then you can’t get up for any game of football.
“When we went 1-0 up, I knew we were going to win. I could feel something special building.”
Final awaits
The victory comes a year after Arsenal were beaten in the semi-finals by eventual winners PSG.

Meanwhile, it is the first time since 2006 that they have reached the showpiece clash and only the second time in their 139-year history.
On that occasion, Arsene Wenger’s side were beaten 2-1 by Barcelona in Paris.
Arteta will now take his Arsenal team to the Puskas Arena in Budapest for the final in three-and-a-half weeks’ time.
They will take on the winner of Wednesday’s clash between PSG and Bayern Munich, with the French side leading 5-4 from the first leg.
