Watch Warriors’ Jimmy Butler fall out of his seat after shocking magic trick

Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler is still recovering from an ACL injury, which limited him to just 38 games last season.

With the Warriors failing to get a major addition to the roster in the offseason, Butler’s return to action will be imperative. He will continue to be a key cog of their aging core, including Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Kristaps Porzingis.

The 36-year-old Butler has been serious about his rehabilitation, but that does not mean he cannot have fun and be free-spirited as always.

He attended what appeared to be a wedding party. When a magician approached him, it seemed like a card trick was going to happen. The magician, however, pulled a snake out of nowhere, making Butler jump out of his chair and fall to the ground.

The six-time All-Star, who was with popular singer J Balvin, was a sport about it and laughed at himself.

It is unclear when it happened, but fans were immediately concerned about Butler’s knee.

“He has to take it easy on that knee,” said @lightfold_.

“Looks like the only thing hotter than his jump shot is his jump from the chair!” added @Tlllor.

“Yo, chill. He just tore his ACL,” wrote @Nin3rswarri3rs.

“That might be the fastest Jimmy has moved all offseason,” commented @vegasmirabet.

“Better not get hurt again,” pleaded @zDrxgon.

Butler recently posted a video of himself shooting during his vacation in France. He was positive about his looming return.

“This is like riding a bike. You think an ACL injury can keep me down? We’ll come back better than ever. We’re not worried about that,” said the hard-nosed wingman.

Last season, Butler averaged 20.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.4 steals. He was linked to trade rumors in the offseason, but the Warriors were firm in keeping him.
