Vladimir Guerrero Jr. savagely trolls Ronald Acuna Jr. after double

The Toronto Blue Jays bring a healthier Vladimir Guerrero Jr. to the diamond now. Guerrero left his fans scared after leaving the Pittsburgh Pirates game on May 24. But he proved his healthy state by smacking a double, then trolling Ronald Acuna Jr. of the Atlanta Braves.

Guerrero smacked his fifth inning rip toward the right field wall. Acuna attempted to pick off the Blue Jays star at second base. Except Guerrero, fighting through his MLB Injury on his right elbow, slid stomach first into the bag.

He got to the base in time before the throw out. Guerrero proceeded to look at Acuna, then gave him a Dikembe Mutombo finger wag.

Guerrero, again, made his comeback after taking a 92.1 miles per hour pitch in the elbow from Mitch Keller of Pittsburgh. The Blue Jays star even endured a brief hitting slump before June hit.

The American League champion of the 2025 season once went nearly a week without chipping a hit. Guerrero himself became honest about his slump back on May 16.

But he’s rediscovered his swing consistency in recent weeks. He produced a four-hit outing against the Baltimore Orioles on May 30. Guerrero also delivered four different two-hit games including against the Braves on Thursday. The first baseman scored one run too during the 3-1 victory over Atlanta.

Guerrero joined Ernie Clement and Kazuma Okamoto in pounding two hits against the Braves’ lineup of pitchers. Toronto is now 29-33 overall in 2026, but have lost six of its last 10 games heading into the weekend of June 6.
