Transfer Notebook: Man United eye £87m-rated Semenyo alternative, Nathan Ake wanted by several clubs, West Ham target Coventry striker
Bournemouth are among the clubs considering a January move for Manchester City defender Nathan Ake.
Ake’s future at the Etihad is uncertain after starting only one Premier League game this season.

The Dutchman is keen to play more regularly ahead of the World Cup.
Ake played more than 100 Premier League games for Bournemouth to earn a £41million move to Man City in the summer of 2020.
The Cherries want a new centre-back with Marcos Senesi set to leave at the end of the season after turning down numerous contract offers.
Crystal Palace also have Ake on the radar as they look to strengthen their squad for the second half of the season and in preparation for Marc Guehi’s pending departure.
United eye £87m-rated teen
Manchester United are the latest club keeping track of Leipzig rising star Yan Diomande.
The 19-year-old Ivory Coast-born ace was playing semi-professional football in America as recently as 2024.
Diomande has now become one of the most sought-after players in Europe, prompting Leipzig to place an £87m bounty on his head.
United have identified Diomande as a potential target if they fail to land Antoine Semenyo, although would not pursue their interest in the Bundesliga man until the summer.
talkSPORT exclusively revealed Semenyo’s release clause of around £60m has to be activated in the first ten days of the January transfer window.
The Bournemouth winger has offers on the table from both United and Man City.

Hammers begin latest striker search
West Ham have made enquiries for Championship pair Haji Wright and Josh Sargent as they seek a solution for their striker woes.
The Hammers have made a new number 9 their priority ahead of the upcoming transfer window after agreeing to send flop Niklas Fullkrug to AC Milan on loan.
With moves for Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee and Promise David looking difficult to pull off, the Hammers could dip into the second tier.
USA internationals Wright and Sargent have scored eight and six goals for Coventry and Norwich respectively this season.
talkSPORT has been told Coventry will rebuff any offers for Wright.
Other names on the Hammers shortlist are Wolves’ Jorgen Strand Larsen, who is keen to leave Molineux, and Everton flop Beto.

Welsh wonderkid wanted by Bayern
Bayern Munich are keeping tabs on Cardiff teenage sensation Dylan Lawlor, talkSPORT understands.
Lawlor, who turns 20 on New Year’s Day, has already won three senior Wales caps and is seen as a key player for the future by international boss Craig Bellamy.
Premier League scouts have been flocking to south Wales to watch the cultured defender.
But Bayern boss Vincent Kompany is believed to have been put on the scent by Bellamy, who was the Belgian’s assistant at Burnley.
Bellamy was in the crowd when Cardiff lost 3-1 to Chelsea in last week’s EFL Cup quarter-final as Lawlor again impressed.
