Toni Kukoc’s insane aura totally helped Bulls move up in 2026 NBA Draft Lottery

The Chicago Bulls may have a franchise legend to thank for the fantastic NBA draft lottery.

The Bulls sent former star forward Toni Kukoc to represent them in Sunday’s lottery, where they originally had the ninth-best odds to land the top pick. When it was all said and done, the Bulls got the No. 4 pick, and fans are hyped, with many crediting Kukoc’s aura for helping Chicago secure a high pick.

“Toni Kukoč looks like the CEO of an Italian car company,” a social media user on Bluesky shared.

“I was pulling for Chicago. Surprised to see Kukoc there. I didn’t realize he still lives in the Chicago area,” another one commented.

“Toni Kukoc was clutch once again! Super happy! The offseason is taking a whole different turn!” a different fan said.

The 57-year-old Kukoc played the majority of his NBA career with the Bulls and was part of the franchise’s second three-peat in the 1990s. During his time with Chicago, he averaged 14.1 points on 45.8 percent shooting from the field, 4.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists through 436 games.

The Washington Wizards got the top pick, followed by the Utah Jazz at No. 2. The Memphis Grizzlies secured the No. 3 spot for the upcoming 2026 NBA Draft. Rounding out the top five are the Los Angeles Clippers, who are at No. 5 (via the Indiana Pacers).
