Tommy Fury vs Eddie Hall undercard struck by late cancellation two days before event

The Tommy Fury vs Eddie Hall undercard is down one bout.

Two days before fight night, Misfits Boxing has been forced to reshuffle the Manchester bill after BDave pulled out of his contest with Swarmz.

The pair had been set to feature in the antepenultimate fight of the night.

However, social media star BDave is unable to compete due to an injury.

Organisers are now scrambling to find a replacement opponent for rapper Swarmz.

BDave no-showed yesterday’s open workout and took to social media to address his absence.

BDave releases statement

“About three days before I was supposed to fly down to Manchester, I was making some dinner, in amazing shape and on weight,” he wrote.

“After nine weeks of two-a-days I fell down the stairs like a r***** and pinched a nerve in my back and bruised my ribs.

“I currently can’t punch or move my head at all.

“Anything more than a normal walk is extremely painful.

“I was really looking forward to fighting Swarmz and worked so hard.

“I’m sorry to Swarmz and misfits anyone that was looking forward to this.”

Swarmz didn’t take the news well.

Firing back on social media, he wrote: “BDave ducked me.

“Everyone just saying I think he’s really scared of black guys.

“I’ve been humble this whole time. The show will still go on.”

Hall also opted not to work out in front of the assembled media on Wednesday, although the main event is still due to go ahead.
