The Eagles game Jason Kelce will be calling on ESPN this season

This season, fans will see ESPN’s Jason Kelce call games, and among the ones he is working is the Philadelphia Eagles’ Week 5 trip to London.

The Eagles will play the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 5 of the season in London. Kelce will be in the booth, according to Ari Meirov, for the game. The last time the teams played in the regular season was in 2024. The Eagles narrowly won the contest 28-23.

It is one of the four games he will call this season. Two of the others are also international games (the Indianapolis Colts vs. the Washington Commanders in London and the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New Orleans Saints in Paris). The fourth game hasn’t been decided yet, but it will be in Week 16.

Ex-Eagles star Jason Kelce’s ESPN duties

Since his retirement in 2024, Kelce has been part of ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown crew, a Monday Night Football pre-game show.

The crew is being shaken up in 2026. Following Ryan Clark’s dismissal, ESPN added Pat McAfee to the panel for this season. Scott Van Pelt will host the show with Marcus Spears and Jason McCourty also at the desk.

Now, he appears ready to take the next step. Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will likely remain ESPN’s top commentating duo for the foreseeable future, as they signed five-year contracts in 2022, but maybe Kelce is setting himself up for a career in the booth.

Kelce was a legendary player for the Eagles from 2011 to 2023. They drafted him in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft out of Cincinnati.

During his professional career, he played in nearly 200 regular season games. He won one Super Bowl (making another) and was named to seven Pro Bowls. Additionally, he was a six-time First-team All-Pro player, making it every year from 2017 to 2019 and 2021 to 2023.
