Sky’s Natasha Cloud rips haters of Liberty star Breanna Stewart with savage remark

It might be unlikely for the Chicago Sky to make it to the 2026 WNBA playoffs, but that doesn’t mean that they are just going to stop trying. On Tuesday, the Sky took a 93-86 victory over the New York Liberty at home, with Natasha Cloud popping off for 35 points on 13-21 shooting from the field (4-8 from deep) and 5-6 from the charity stripe. Cloud also added nine rebounds and six assists for good measure in what is her best performance of the season.

Cloud could have talked about her epic performance on the night as well as the Sky’s victory over the contending Liberty, but she decided to put Breanna Stewart’s haters on blast — saying that her former teammate is not yet done playing at a high level.

“Her legacy is going to continue to be built and she’s still not done yet. So to all the s**t talkers, to all the Stewie haters, man, her resume don’t lie. You can’t hate on that resume,” Cloud said, per Madeline Kenney of the New York Post.

Stewart is only 31 years of age, so she is indeed still far away from hanging up her sneakers. She has slowed down a bit from her MVP-level prime, but on the year, she is still averaging 20.7 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game on 47/27/85 shooting splits.

Year-in, year-out, the Liberty have a chance at competing for a title due to Stewart’s presence, as she remains one of the most impactful players in the WNBA. It’s not quite clear who’s hating on the Liberty star, but Cloud is shutting down any notions of criticism towards Stewart to begin with.

This latest win for the Sky moves them to 14-22 on the year, so this at least keeps their playoff hopes alive for the meantime. The Dallas Wings, however, need to win just two more games to eliminate them from playoff contention. The Wings swept the season series against the Sky (3-0), and if Dallas reaches 22 wins, there is no way the Sky can finish above them in the standings.
