Bet of the Day

Mallorca to beat Rayo Vallecano @ 11/8

Mallorca boosted their La Liga survival hopes with victory over Real Madrid last time out and they are now chasing a third successive home win.

The Estadi Mallorca Son Moix has been a relative fortress for Los Piratas this season, with 25 of their 31 league points being picked up at the venue.

This could also be a good time to be facing opponents Rayo Vallecano, who have the second leg of their Conference League quarter-final tie with AEK Athens to come in midweek.Rayo won the first leg of that contest 3-0 on home soil, and with a first European semi-final now within touching distance, they may take their eye off the ball on this trip to the Balearics.

Crystal Palace vs Newcastle – Newcastle or draw double chance, Jorgen Strand Larsen 1+ shots on target & Malick Thiaw 1+ shots on target @ 22/5

Newcastle have lost just one of their last 10 meetings with Crystal Palace, winning the two most recent head-to-heads by an aggregate score of 7-0.

With the Eagles having perhaps more than one eye on the second leg of their Conference League quarter-final tie with Fiorentina, Eddie Howe’s men can take advantage.

Jorgen Strand Larsen missed the first leg of Palace’s European tie through suspension, but the winter recruit from Wolves should come straight back into the starting XI and can register a sixth shot on target in just his seventh league appearance for the club.

Malick Thiaw scored the second goal in Newcastle’s 2-0 win over Palace at St James’ Park in January and the centre=back is a real threat from set pieces.

The Germany international has five goals in what is his debut season in English football and can trouble the target at least once at Selhurst Park.

Tottenham, Newcastle and Manchester City all to win @ 11/1

A Premier League away-day treble offers plenty of value, especially if Tottenham can finally register their first top-flight win of 2026 in De Zerbi’s first game in charge.

Relegation remains a major concern for Spurs, but the arrival of the former Brighton boss should give them a lift, while Sunderland could prove the ideal opponents, sitting comfortably in mid-table and having lost three home games on the spin.

The Black Cats did beat Newcastle last time out, but the Magpies have spent three weeks licking their wounds from that derby defeat and will be desperate to bounce back when they visit Crystal Palace.

As prviously mentioned, the Magpies have a strong recent record against Palace and they may be facing the Eagles at the right time, with this game coming in the middle of their Conference League quarter-final tie with Fiorentina.

Completing the treble, Manchester City have produced two dominant cup performances in recent weeks to beat Arsenal and Liverpool and they can now put Chelsea to the sword as well.

The Blues enjoyed their own cup success against Port Vale last time out, but they had lost four in a row before that, with the jury remaining firmly out on head coach Liam Rosenior.
