Saints’ Cam Jordan officially ruled out, Alvin Kamara ‘has a shot’ for Week 1 vs. Lions
The New Orleans Saints will be facing the Detroit Lions to open the season, and they could possibly be without two of their veterans due to injury. Cam Jordan has already been ruled out, but Alvin Kamara seems to be questionable for the matchup, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
“Saints HC Kellen Moore rules out DE Cam Jordan (hamstring) for Sunday. The expectation was he’d miss the start of the season. Now official,” Garafolo wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
“Moore said RB Alvin Kamara (knee) is limited. We mentioned on The Insiders on NFL Network the other night Kamara has a shot to play. Depends how the week goes.”
