Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul together in epic photo of retired PGs

The NBA saw two of the greatest point guards of all-time head off into retirement this past year, first with Chris Paul and then Russell Westbrook. Both players will be in the Hall of Fame no doubt, and the duo recently went on vacation where they still showed off their love for the game by throwing lobs to each other on the deck of a boat, as per Ballislife.

Chris Paul began the season with the LA Clippers before things went south, and he announced his retirement shortly after the team traded him to the Toronto Raptors in a three-team deal at the deadline. Russell Westbrook played out last season on the Sacramento Kings, and had interest from a few teams in free agency this summer before opting for retirement.

The only thing that eluded both players during their Hall of Fame careers was a championship.

Paul was the No. 4 overall pick in the 2005 NBA Draft by the New Orleans Hornets. He also played for the Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs during his 21-year NBA career.

He holds career averages of 16.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 9.2 assists and 2.0 steals with splits of 46.9 percent shooting from the field, 37 percent shooting from the 3-point line and 87 percent shooting from the free-throw line.

Westbrook was the No. 4 overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft by the Thunder. He also played for the Rockets, Washington Wizards, Los Angeles Lakers, Clippers and Denver Nuggets during his 18-year NBA career.

He holds career averages of 20.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, 8.6 assists and 1.6 steals with splits of 43.8 percent shooting from the field, 30.8 percent shooting from the 3-point line and 77.1 percent shooting from the free-throw line.
