Tragedy recently struck in Florida, when American rapper Offset was recently shot he was shot in Florida, according to one of his representatives. Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, is currently being closely monitored. According to his representative, he was shot near a casino in Hollywood, Florida.

Shortly after the entire unfortunate incident took place, wrestling veteran and WWE & AEW legend Ric Flair uploaded a story on social media to pay his respect and prayers to the rapper. Fans might also remember Flair’s partnership with Metro Boomin, 21Savage, and Offset in 2018 to produce the song, “Ric Flair drip.” Recalling his long history with the rapper, Flair offered his prayers. “Prayers For Offset! Stay Strong! Thank You So Much For All You Have Done For My Career! [praying emoji].”

As per NBC, in a statement that did not name the rapper, the Seminole Police Department said an “incident” happened in the valet area outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood. One person was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood with non-life-threatening injuries, the department noted. The situation was reportedly quickly contained, and two individuals were detained.

Offset, who hails from Atlanta, was previously in a relationship with Cardi B and has three children with her. The Grammy-nominated rapper recently appeared on the Feb. 2026 episode of Monday Night RAW in Atlanta, where he expressed his support for Je’Von Evans in a match against Kofi Kingston. His 2025 song “Bodies” was also used as the official theme for the WWE Elimination Chamber 2026.
