Ric Flair clears relationship status with Wendy after social media outrage

Just days after reconciling with his ex-wife Wendy Barlow, WWE legend Ric Flair has now shared another update regarding his relationship status. Flair’s recent social media post about his reconciliation with ex-wife Wendy Barlow went viral for all sorts of wrong reasons.

Fans were outraged and infuriated by Flair’s choice of words and found the post insulting to Wendy. Flair, 77, real name Richard Morgan Fliehr, separated from his fourth wife, Wendy Barlow, in 2024 after 13 years of being together.

Responding to the trolls and the social media outrage, Flair made it clear that he and Wendy Barlow were, in fact, not in a relationship but had rekindled their friendship. “Wendy And I Are Not Renewing A Relationship. We Are Renewing A 34 Year Friendship. She Has Her Own Residence And I Have Mine. She Is Coming To Tampa Primarily To Take Care Of Her Parents, Who Are Both In Their 80s And Not In Good Health.

“Wendy Will Continue To Do What She Does Best, Travel The World, And Help People Who Are Struggling In Other Countries. I’ll Resume What I Do And Love Most Which Is Attending Public Events And Signing Autographs At Meet & Greets. Please Don’t Turn Something Positive Into Something Negative. If That’s All You Have To Do, Find Something Better To Do,” Flair said.

“The One Part I Am Sure Of, Which She Reminds Me Whenever We Speak, Is That She Will Always Be There For Me If I Get Sick Again, And I Was SICK For Two Years! Her Whole Family Took Care Of Me. Find Someone Else To Hate On! Wendy And I Are Good.”

Flair has been in a total of four marriages, with his first marriage lasting from 1971 to 1983, his second marriage lasting from 1983 to 2006, his third one from 2006 to 2009, and his last one with Wendy Barlow lasting from 2009 to 2014.
