Premier League Darts – Week 12 betting tips and selections for Liverpool
Luke Humphries’ prospects of retaining his Premier League title are hanging by a thread as he heads for Liverpool for Week 12 to take on great rival Luke Littler.
Cool Hand is fifth in the eight-man table, three points behind Michael van Gerwen in the race for a play-off place and with time running out.
Humphries has made just one final in the 11 previous nights of action and is 17/2 to win the Premier League as he goes into what looks more and more like a must-win shootout with Littler at the Liverpool Arena.

Premier League Darts – Week 12 betting tips
- Gerwyn Price most 180s vs Gian van Veen @ 10/11
- Stephen Bunting to beat Jonny Clayton @ Evens
- Josh Rock to beat Michael van Gerwen @ 11/10
- Luke Humphries vs Luke Littler over 9.5 legs @ 11/10
Iceman to freeze out GVV in 180s matchbet
Iceman Gerwyn Price is red hot after victory at the weekend and expect him to carry on the good work against Gian van Veen in the opening quarter-final of the night in Liverpool.
Price is buzzing after winning the European Grand Prix on Sunday, his second title of the year to go alongside a pair of Thursday night successes in this competition.
Price is a clear favourite though a better bet might be him at 10/11 to out-max Van Veen.
The Welsh ace is averaging a 180 every 3.4 legs in the Premier League compared to Van Veen’s one every 4.7 and the gulf is just as pronounced on this season’s Players Championship tour, where Gezzy hits a maximum every 2.7 legs, The Giant one every 4.0.
Bunting poised to clip Clayton’s wings
Jonny Clayton is pretty much home and hosed for a play-off place and is hunting down a hat-trick of Thursday triumphs after back-to-back wins in Brighton and Rotterdam.
The Welshman is loving the battle and he can expect one against Stephen Bunting, given these two have met four times in 2026 in varying competitions and boast two victories apiece.
Bunting has plenty to do to make the top four, but is in a better place than last season and clearly has the game to beat anyone, even the league leader.
Rock’s a danger on a hiding to nothing
Josh Rock’s prospects of making next month’s play-offs are somewhere between slim and remote, but four straight quarter-final wins have at least taken him to eight points.
He probably needs to win two of the last four Thursdays to have any sort of a sniff, but at least he can stay in the mix by beating Michael van Gerwen in Liverpool to bank a fifth straight points-scoring week.
Van Gerwen has suffered first-hurdle fall in five of the 10 Thursdays in which he has participated and it is that level of inconsistency that should always make him a turn-off at odds-on against a classy opponent, which World Cup winner Rock most definitely is.
Battle of the Lukes to go long
The fourth quarter-final pits Luke Humphries against Luke Littler at a venue where The Nuke (a diehard Manchester United fan) managed to silence the boos two years ago to win.
He is not at his very best right now, but then neither is Humphries, so Littler probably wins it though take it to go to 10 legs at least.
