Patrick Mahomes makes instant history to eclipse Dan Marino but $330million CBS pundit rules all-time list

Patrick Mahomes continues to rewrite the record books.

The Kansas City Chiefs talisman passed Hall of Famer Dan Marino into third in the all-time ranks for passing yards through nine seasons.

Miami Dolphins great Marino had 35,386 after his ninth year in the NFL and Mahomes only needed 58 yards to surpass him.

It took him just over a quarter against his boyhood team as the Chiefs flew out of the gates.

Mahomes is often compared to Tom Brady as he chases down the GOAT’s record seven rings.

To put his latest feat in perspective, the New England Patriots icon only had 26,446 by the end of season nine.

Like Mahomes, Brady sat his first campaign and he also missed almost the entire 2008 season after tearing his ACL against the Chiefs.

Mahomes would still have been in high school.

Marino’s fellow Hall of Famer Peyton Manning is next in the standings with 37,586 yards — a number Mahomes is very unlikely to reach.

And former Atlanta Falcons passer Matt Ryan — denied a Super Bowl by Brady’s comeback for the ages in 2017 — looks to be safe in top spot until the next big thing arrives.

He had 37,701 at this stage of his career and retired with 62,000 — good enough for No.8 in the all-time ranks.

Despite never earning a ring, Ryan took home around $288 million over the course of his career

Marino is 10th, while Manning had risen to third by the time he hung up the cleats.

Drew Brees is second — behind his new Fox Sports colleague Brady, who managed an unfathomable 89,214 passing yards in a ridiculous career.

Who is the best-paid quarterback of all time?

Brady made $333 million in his playing career — less than he will rake in for a decade in the Fox booth.

Per Spotrac, Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford holds the honor of earning more money than any football player with $408 million and counting.
