Pat McAfee appears to ‘leak’ NFL team’s new logo live on air before franchise delete post
For the second time this month, a major element of the Tennessee Titans’ rebuild has been ‘leaked’.
The Titans alleged new logo first surfaced in early February, when a plush football listing on Fanatics briefly revealed the redesigned emblem before being pulled down.

This time, instead of being removed, it was embraced.
The Pat McAfee Show aired an NFL 2026 cap space graphic on Wednesday, featuring what appears to be Tennessee’s new logo.
The simplified T and three-star roundel without the iconic flames was present, next to their league-leading $98 million in projected cap space.
What was even more eye-opening was that the official Titans X account retweeted the post, before swiftly deleting it.
The updated design appears to have dropped the Greek mythology-inspired flames that have been present since 1999.
It also appears to have changed the navy blue colour for the Columbia blue and red palette tied to the team’s Houston Oilers roots.
Fans immediately took notice of the new logo drop, and speculated whether it was an intentional move by McAfee.
“Pat had that new logo there on purpose. He wanted them to say something,” one fan said.
“look at that new logo on the board!!,” a second pointed out.
“I wonder if Pat and the boys know more than anyone else,” a third said on Reddit.
“Def jus added it to the graphic for fun I wouldn’t trust Pat McAfee or ESPN to have insider knowledge on the Titans logo”, wrote a fourth.

Others pointed out that the graphic didn’t include the rumored Los Angeles Rams logo, suggesting it might have been fed directly from league branding assets.
Titans rebrand marks new era of franchise with Saleh at the helm
Tennessee have been in need of a re-brand for a while, with fans often noting how ‘busy’ their uniforms look.
They have a new stadium on the way, which broke ground nearly two years ago.
The under-construction facility promises to be an ‘extraordinary’ stage that can help elevate one of the NFL’s struggling franchises — and host a future Super Bowl.
Billboards have gone up across Nashville, sporting a “03.12.26” date on them, implying that all the re-brand details will be released a day after the new league year begins.
The Titans rebrand comes at a time when they are beginning a new era under head coach Robert Saleh.

Saleh was highly sought-after for various head coaching vacancies around the NFL, after helping the injury-plagued San Francisco 49ers reach the playoffs.
It will be Saleh’s second opportunity as a head coach, having spent three-and-a-half seasons with the New York Jets between 2021-24, posting a 20-36 record.
He has been brought in to sure up a shaky defense ahead of Cam Ward, who they see as a franchise quarterback.
Tennessee, who fired head coach Brian Callahan midway through the year, finished the 2025 regular season with a 3-14 record.
Ward, who was the first-overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft, showed flashes of brilliance but was sacked 55 times, and Saleh is already making an impact.
The franchise announced on Wednesday that they have released center Lloyd Cushenberry, and safety Xavier Woods.
Cushenberry started 15 games in his second season in Tennessee, while Woods made 11 appearances in his first season with the club.
