Olympic Medal Bonuses: Which Countries Pay the Most?
Olympic medal bonuses vary widely by country, with no single IOC prize fund for gold, silver or bronze. Singapore and Hong Kong offer the largest confirmed individual gold rewards, while Poland’s package mixes cash and non-cash benefits. The IOC now also pays every eligible Olympian a separate US$10,000 grant, regardless of medal success.
