Nottingham Forest had a tough start to the Premier League but maybe there’s some hope for them after two wins on the bounce and unbeaten in three.

The Seagulls are flying much higher already though and will definitely get something out of this, especially given Forest’s clash against Malmo on Thursday evening.

Seagulls continue solid run

Brighton have won three and have drawn once in their last five in the Premier League.

Coming back from 1-0 down to Brentford to go on and win courtesy to a goal from Danny Welbeck to equalise.

Jack Hinshelwood then got the winner just over ten minutes later to secure the comeback and looked a tough side against the Bees.

I can see Forest reverting back to previous form after a great few results against Malmo, Liverpool, Leeds and then draws against SK Sturm Graz and Man United.

Both teams are in great form coming into this weekend which does lend itself to a draw if they can match each other.

There should be some goals as a result of that but still potentially a big battle in midfield for the majority, before some late drama.

Welbeck continues consistency

The 35-year-old is going strong and looks to eclipse his previous Brighton Premier League tallies.

He’s scored seven already this season after just 12 appearances having scored ten in 30 last season and five in 29 appearances the campaign before.

He keeps popping up at key times for the Seagulls and up against a team like Forest who have been seeing plenty of conceded goals, he’s going to get a few chances.
