NFL teams spark conspiracy as stadiums all share same creepy logo and date – but fans think they’ve worked it out

Multiple NFL team’s stadiums have taken to social media to post teaser videos that show the same logo and date.

Arrowhead Stadium’s official X account – home to the Kansas City Chiefs – as well as AT&T Stadium (Dallas Cowboys), and Acrisure Stadium (Pittsburgh Steelers) all posted videos of a skull logo with a cap and a beard, along with the date ‘8.13.2026’ as the caption.

Some NFL fans were left mulling over what the teaser videos mean.

“Every NFL stadium Twitter page has this tweet out, so what’s the special announcement that’s coming tomorrow?” one user wrote on X.

Others, however, appear to have figured it all out.

“Announce date for a tour I suspect,” one user commented.

“I bet that it’s one of Luke Combs stops on his tour he’s announcing on the 13th. But that’s just a theory,” a second weighed in.

“It’s 100 per cent Luke Combs 2027,” a third added.

Who is Luke Combs?

Luke Combs is a hugely popular American country music singer and songwriter who hails from North Carolina.

The ‘Beautiful Crazy’ singer has barely finished his 2026 My Kinda Saturday Night Tour, which ran from March 21 to August 2, ending in a triple-header at London’s Wembley Stadium in the United Kingdom.

But he has wasted no time in teasing his next tour, it seems.

The official Luke Combs HQ Instagram page shared a video on Monday of a briefcase with the 34-year-old’s skull-and-beard logo – the same one used in the teasers by the various NFL stadiums.

The video also featured a countdown that concludes at 10am CDT (2pm BST) on August 13.

While some fans believed that he was alluding to something to do with trading cards, it became more apparent that he was referring to a future tour when artists Shenandoah and Wyatt McCubbin both released videos covering his songs, and referencing August 13.

NFL stadiums using turf is better for concerts

While the debate for installing natural grass surfaces over artificial ground continues within the NFL, with the Players’ Association lobbying for the former, artificial turf does have its benefits, at least for the stadium’s benefactors.

For example, artificial turf holds up better for heavy staging, equipment and crowds involved in concerts, while natural ground could cause some structural damage.

This, in turn, would be expensive for owners to rectify.

But NFL stadiums primarily serve the teams they host, and not concerts – even though they bring in additional cash flow – and owners should prioritize player health over anything else.

But that’s a debate for another day.
