Netflix reveals fate for ‘America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders’ Season 4

Get your pom poms ready because the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are back for season four!

Netflix announced that “America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders” will be back with a fun post on Instagram playing “This or That.” Some DCC members, including veterans Charly Barbie, Camille Sturdivant, and Sophy Laufer to blindly pick through infamous DCC-related choices like iconic cheers “Thunderstruck” and Prince’s “Baby, I’m a Star” or a hair flip versus a high kick.

When they got to the last choice, it was between “meeting Timothée Chalamet” or “Announce S4 of America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.” At first, Demmer chose to meet the “Dune” star, to which she responded with a laugh: “Well, I’ve already done that!” She then went to choose the Netflix announcement card.

In a press release, Netflix revealed that the fourth season will return with the DCC’s senior director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell. The new season will showcase rookies during the audition process as well as showing the lives of the new DCC members and veterans off the field.

“Each new season is another opportunity to showcase the extraordinary talent, dedication and individuality of our team,” Kelli Finglass said in a release per People. “We’re proud to continue to share their stories and artistry with audiences, inspiring the next generation of young performers all over the world to dream big and pursue their passions.”

“Every season we get a little further past the performance and closer to the person,” added executive producer Greg Whiteley in the press release. “What excites me is more than just who makes the team — it’s what these women are willing to explore and let viewers see along their journey. That kind of trust takes years, and I’m grateful we get another season to tell their stories.”

A premiere date for season 4 has not yet been announced, but the first three episodes are available to stream on Netflix now.
