Maxx Crosby was a fourth-round pick by the-then Oakland Raiders in 2019.

The first round of the 2019 NFL draft was absolutely loaded with defensive prospects including Nick Bosa and Quinnen Williams.

But if time could be reversed, and the draft were to be held again, it is highly unlikely that Crosby would not be selected in the fourth round.

The 28-year-old edge rusher is a five-time Pro Bowler, two-time All-Pro, and has finished in the top-10 for defensive player of the year twice.

However, during his time with the Las Vegas Raiders, the team has been to the playoffs just once, and since that 2021 run, they have endured four-straight losing seasons.

NFL fans shocked at Crosby’s Raiders transformation

One X account recently posted a side-by-side picture comparison of Crosby, one from his time in college at Eastern Michgican, and his latest headshot with the Raiders.

College Crosby is unrecognizable, with bleached blond hair, no beard, and a wide smile and flashy earrings on display.

His latest Raiders snapshot features a pale expression with tattoos running up his neck and a Raiders beanie covering his hair.

Crosby has certainly seen it all in his seven years with the Raiders, and fans were quick to point the transformation out.

“This is what seven years on the Raiders does to a guy,” one fan joked.

“What being a Raider does to a mf… free my dude,” another said

“That’s what happens when you get stuck playing for the Raiders,” a third added.

Raiders’ price for Crosby revealed

It is expected to be a very busy offseason for the Raiders and new head coach Klint Kubiak.

Las Vegas owns the first overall pick in the upcoming NFL draft, and are expected to select Indiana Hoosiers quarterback Fernando Mendoza.

According to some reports, the team are willing to trade Crosby in order to accelerate their rebuild around Mendoza.

Speculation around Crosby’s future with the franchise began at the back-end of last season when the Raiders rested him for the final two-games of the season, despite the 28-year-old claiming he was fit enough to play.

The Raiders’ defense, anchored by Crosby, remains one of the league’s best at generating pressure, making his availability one of the most compelling trade possibilities of the offseason.

According to league sources, the Raiders are seeking two-first round picks and a player for the superstar edge rusher.

It is exactly the kind of deal that the Dallas Cowboys pulled off when they sent Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers in 2025.

Kubiak has made his stance clear on Crosby’s future, claiming that he expects him to stay.

But it does indicate that there is a price and he is not untradeable, and a deal could happen if the asking price is met.
