Marcus Rashford makes feelings clear on permanent Barcelona move after sealing LaLiga title
Marcus Rashford has admitted he would like to stay at Barcelona beyond this season after clinching the LaLiga title.
The England forward has impressed in Spain since joining on loan from Manchester United last summer, and scored the opening goal in Sunday’s title-winning victory over Real Madrid.

Big game player
Rashford found the net with a stunning free-kick just nine minutes into the clash, as the Catalan giants won 2-0 at the Camp Nou.
Ferran Torres doubled Barca’s lead shortly afterwards, sealing league glory by triumphing over their arch rivals in El Clasico.
This was the first time since 1932 that LaLiga has been decided in a meeting between Spain’s two biggest clubs.
It sparked huge celebrations among Hansi Flick’s players at full-time, while the moment was extra special for Rashford, who has enjoyed a career resurgence in Barcelona.
After falling out of favour at Man United under former boss Ruben Amorim, the 28-year-old completed a season-long loan move to the Camp Nou last July.
Since then, he has scored 14 goals and added 14 assists in all competitions, proving his value to the team.
‘I would stay’
While Rashford’s loan deal includes an option for Barcelona to sign him permanently in the summer, his future is currently unclear.
Recent reports have claimed this clause will not be triggered, after it was previously suggested he was close to agreeing personal terms over a permanent switch.
Asked about his future after clinching LaLiga, Rashford told reporters in the mixed zone: “I don’t know, I’m not a magician but if I was, I would stay at Barcelona.
“So we will see.”

Having made his desire to stay at Barcelona clear, Rashford added that he relishes being part of a trophy-winning side.
The recent LaLiga glory marks the first league title of his career, with the Englishman previously winning five major trophies at Man United.
Rashford won the Europa League in 2017, as well as two FA Cups and two EFL Cups.
Reflecting on his time in Spain, Rashford said: “Really good, I came here to win.
“I want to win as many things as I can, so this is one more to add to this.
“This team is a wonderful team. They’re going to win so much in the future as well.

“So to be a part of that, it would be special. So we’ll see.”
Could Rashford stay at Man United?
Rashford has appeared increasingly likely to leave Man United in the summer, after over 20 years associated with the club.
The Red Devils plan to sell the academy graduate, despite interim boss Michael Carrick leaving the door open for a return.
And while Rashford has made it clear that he would like to remain at Barcelona, there could be a stumbling block to this deal.
Under the terms of the loan deal, Barca would have to stump up £26million to make the move permanent; they have seen their attempts to renegotiate the fee rebuffed by United.
As a result, the Spanish giants are believed to be undecided on whether to sign Rashford, who was recently tipped to join United’s Premier League rivals Arsenal in the summer instead.
