Manchester United stars appear to mock Alejandro Garnacho on brutal Luke Shaw social media post

Luke Shaw showed himself flooring Alejandro Garnacho in a brutal social media post following Manchester United’s win over Chelsea.

And Shaw‘s Man United teammates appear to have joined in with taking aim at their now-rival after victory at Stamford Bridge.

Garnacho started the game on Saturday on the bench for the Blues, before being introduced in the first half for the injured Estevao.

He went on to play the rest of the match against his old side, but things couldn’t have gone much worse for the Argentinian.

Chelsea were beaten 1-0 by Man United, while he struggled to make an impact on the wing – and Shaw made sure to point that out.

Posting on Instagram after the game, the United left-back started his carousel of images with one of him pushing Garnacho to the ground.

He chose that picture to lead his post rather than others that included him celebrating the win at full-time with his team.

It appears to have clearly been a conscious choice, and his teammates have followed along with the mockery of Garnacho.

‘That’s a violation’

Man United captain Bruno Fernandes replied to Shaw’s post with a GIF that included the text: “That’s a violation”.

Ayden Heaven replied with a GIF relating to firing shots at Garnacho, while Joshua Zirkzee simply wrote: “Nice one mate.”

Rising United stars Tyler Fletcher and Shea Lacey also replied with crying laughing emojis.

Matheus Cunha posted ‘My duo’, while Shaw also liked a reply from fan and social media sensation AngryGinge that read ‘Who’s that **** from Argentina?’, in reference to a chant towards Garnacho.

Fans also loved the brutal picture choice from Shaw, with one reacting in the replies saying: “Good choice of 1st image”.

Another replied with laughing emojis: “Shaw you’re naughty.”

“Incredible image choice,” a third United supporter replied.

Friend becomes foe

Garnacho spent five years at Man United, coming through their academy to become a regular starter for the first team.

However, ahead of his move to Chelsea last summer, things had turned sour following the Europa League final.

Then manager Ruben Amorim told the winger to leave the club after his fury at being benched and comments from his brother.

And he became a member of the ‘bomb squad’, being left out of the matchday squad under Amorim at the start of this season.

In August, Chelsea agreed to sign him for £40million and his time at the Red Devils ended on a rough note.

It appears that there was potentially a rift in the United changing room too, considering Shaw’s post following their reunion.

Since arriving at Stamford Bridge, Garnacho hasn’t managed to hit the ground running, only scoring once in the Premier League.

He has four league assists to his name in 14 starts for the Blues.
