Luke Littler produces ‘silly’ comeback to win Premier League night seven after achieving career first
Luke Littler reeled off six legs in a row to come from behind to win night seven of the Premier League.
The world No.1 survived multiple match darts after falling 5-0 down against Gerwyn Price in Thursday’s final.

However, Littler capitalised on his opponent’s mistakes to produce a stunning comeback and win the match 6-5.
The Nuke had appeared down and out as he sarcastically celebrated winning his first leg of the match in front of the Dublin crowd.
Price continued to miss opportunities to clinch victory, though, as his lead quickly evaporated.
Having levelled the match at 5-5, Littler left himself 81 with a 180 in the deciding leg before pinning double 15 for the match.
In doing so, he secured his second nightly win of the season after victory in Cardiff earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Littler had not won a Premier League match in Dublin before tonight after quarter-final exits in each of the last two years.
He secured his first by beating Stephen Bunting in his opening match of the night before coming through a last leg decider against Michael van Gerwen.
Speaking on Sky Sports after his win over Price, Littler admitted: “I have no idea how I have done that. I got the first leg, had a bit of fun.
“Then I got my 180 but Gezzy had set up tops so I waved them goodbye. The rest is history. I was gone.
“When Gerwyn Price was on tops he doesn’t usually miss. Absolutely (I thought I was gone). I may as well have been off the stage. This is darts, things happen.”

Reflecting on the night as a whole, he added: “I played very well against Stephen and got the two points.
“Then it was another brilliant game with Michael. The final. Nothing to say. I am just closing that gap on Jonny.
“Obviously I have finished top the last two years and I want to do it again.
“Jonny and the start he has had, it is good to see I am in second but I am right behind him now and chasing.”
Meanwhile, Wayne Mardle said: “That is not something that happens often to Gerwyn Price. It is just one of those.
“It is so volatile, it is such a volatile little format and you can see it was fun for Luke to win that.

“It is not always about the 105 averages, it is about nicking one that you shouldn’t win.
“He shouldn’t have won that. Gerwyn Price missed chance after chance.”
Littler’s dramatic final victory came after more chaos in his semi-final against Van Gerwen.
Prior to their clash, only one 170 checkout had ever been achieved in Dublin in Premier League Darts history.
However, both players reeled in the big fish to the delight of the crowd in the Irish capital.
It was the third time Littler had done so this year after producing two 170 finishes on night five in Cardiff.
His win in Dublin sees the teenager cut the gap to top of the table Jonny Clayton down to just three points.
Littler will now face Bunting again in next week’s quarter-finals in Berlin, with the winner taking on either Price or Gian van Veen.
