Lil Yachty makes epic move to Ricky Saints in WWE appearance

Lil Yachty is adding to his WWE resume.

The “Broccoli” rapper appeared on WWE Night of Champions on Saturday, June 27 where he delivered a People’s Elbow to Ricky Saints. Yachty was ejected to the ringside after Saints pretended to be hit by a kendo stick.

Trick Williams was seen trying to defend Yachty after Saints pretended to be hit by the rapper. Williams then defended his title and delivered a Trick Shot to Saints, securing his victory.

Lil Yachty has had several WWE appearances after he made his on-screen debut as Williams’s manager back in April on an episode of SmackDown. He then appeared during WrestleMania 42 weekend that month. The Grammy-nominated rapper received a lot of backlash for appearing during WrestleMania 42 as fans complained about the influx of celebrities during the weekend. Other celebrities, such as NFL legend Tom Brady, ESPN personality Pat McAfee, singer Jelly Roll, and social media influencer IShowSpeed, also made appearances during the weekend.

After Yachty’s WWE debut in April, he responded to the backlash from fans on X.

“I understand y’all upset but don’t try and step on my f—king moment,” he wrote at the time. “I’m at the TV screen every Monday and Friday religiously. I’ve been to more PLEs than most. I probably know more history than most of y’all. Who’s to say I don’t deserve to be a part of something I love so dearly?”

Boat is not the only rapper to have had an affiliation with WWE as Travis Scott was a apart of Cody Rhode’s storyline during the 2025 Smackdown. However, La Flame had a falling out with WWE which resulted in his in-ring storylines being canceled and he was also removed as a surprise downloadable character in the WWE 2K25 video game. Scott fell out with WWE after he allegedly skipped training sessions and did not show up on the day his official WWE match was said to be announced.
