LeBron James praises Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Knicks-Cavs courtside sighting

LeBron James is all for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce sitting during courtside at Rocket Arena.

The Los Angeles Lakers star reposted a photo of the couple who sat courtside at Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, where the New York Knicks faced the Cleveland Cavaliers. As James shared the photo to his Instagram Story on Saturday, May 23, he also added the crown and salute emoji, according to a screenshot from New York Post. The four-time NBA champion most likely shared the photo because Kansas City Chiefs star was wearing his LeBron’s 7 MVP.

This was the first time that the couple had been at an NBA game for a date night, while they’ve attended other games individually prior to their 2023 romance. LeBron on the other hand, is no stranger to the Rocket Arena as he was drafted to the Cavs No. 1 overall and earned the franchise their first-ever NBA Championship in 2016. James also secured the 2016 Finals MVP and led the franchise to five total NBA Finals appearances (2007, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018).

The Lakers failed to advance to the Western Conference Finals after they were swept by the Oklahoma City Thunder. James, who is in his 23rd season in the NBA, is currently a free agent.

As for Swift and Kelce, the two seemingly had a great time at the game. The broadcast showed Swift handing Kelce over a piece of fun and later getting up to make sure the crowd was hyped up. The Chiefs ‘tight end also had a moment of his own when he chugged a beer during the live broadcast. The two were also seen taking photos with fans in the tunnel.

The pair is expected to get married in New York City over the summer following Kelce’s August 2025 proposal to the pop star.

The Knicks won Game 3 with a 121 – 98, and are now 3-0 in the series. Game 4 of the ECF takes place o Monday, May 25 back in Cleveland. Tip-off is scheduled to take place at 8 p.m. ET.
