Ball is one of the best point guards in the NBA. He is a brilliant playmaker who thrives getting his teammates involved. He can get downhill and kick out to open shooters, he can run in transition, and he can pass to lob threats and cutters. Ball is also a great scorer who can put the ball in the bucket from all three levels. However, he has been criticized for frequent injuries, maturity issues, and a lack of defense.

A move to Minnesota allows Ball the chance to establish himself as a new player, one whose game can develop enough to buck the label that he isn’t a winner. Expectations are sky-high for Ball with the Timberwolves, and his latest press conference only enhances that.
