Lakers’ LeBron James needs to ‘sit the hell down’ after epic reverse dunk

The Fountain of Youth is real. Because obviously, LeBron James has been drinking from it.

Maybe it is in his garage.

On Tuesday, James led the Los Angeles Lakers past the Houston Rockets, 101-94, in Game 2 to take a 2-0 lead in their first-round series in the playoffs.

The 41-year-old forward had the entire Crypto.com Arena rocking in the third quarter after he made a sick reverse dunk. James drove past Kevin Durant before rising for the jaw-dropping jam.

When asked about it after the game, James gave a candid response, as shown in the video posted by ESPN’s David McMenamin.

“I don’t even know what that was about. I got to sit the hell down. I got to sit down somewhere,” said the four-time MVP.

He tallied a game-high 28 points on top of eight rebounds and seven assists to power the Lakers, while also winning his matchup with Durant, who returned from a knee injury.

James has embraced the challenge of trying to carry the Lakers without Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, both of whom are out indefinitely due to a hamstring injury and an oblique injury, respectively.

“I don’t know how many more opportunities I’ll get to play in the postseason in my career. So, s***, I live for this moment. I live for the postseason,” added James.

James had a slow start before finding his rhythm in the second half, helping the Lakers hold off the multiple comeback attempts of the Rockets.

To note, James had 97 dunks in 59 games in the regular season. The said tally was his most since 2017-2018, when he played 82 games.

Sit on that.
