Jordan Ayew lands Championship move months after Leicester release
Jordan Ayew has secured a new club two months after leaving Leicester City.
The striker has joined Sheffield United on a free transfer, signing a deal until the end of the season.

Ayew had been a free agent since his Foxes deal expired at the end of June.
Despite making four appearances for Ghana at the World Cup, he had yet to find a new club before the end of the transfer window.
However, the 34-year-old has now joined the Blades on a one-year contract, returning to the Championship.
Ayew featured 42 times in the division for Leicester last season, scoring six goals.
His tally was not enough to help the Foxes avoid a second successive relegation, though, as they dropped into League One.
The Ghana captain and record appearance maker will be hoping to avoid a repeat with Chris Wilder’s side this term.
Ayew joins Sheffield United
Unless he was registered prior to midday on Monday, Ayew will be unable to make his debut before the weekend.
Sheffield United face Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on Tuesday, with kick-off at 7.45pm.
Instead, Ayew could be in line to feature at home against Wolves on Sunday.
His last competitive action came in Ghana’s round of 32 defeat to Colombia at the World Cup on July 4.

He now bolsters the Blades’ attacking options, which already included five strikers.
Wilder has added Ayew to a forward line featuring Tom Cannon, Tyrese Campbell, Ben Brereton Diaz, Patrick Bamford and Ryan One.
His arrival comes just days after talkSPORT’s Perry Groves urged Everton to consider a move for Ayew.
The Toffees have Thierno Barry as their only recognised senior centre-forward after a deadline day move for Folarin Balogun fell through.
Ayew’s career so far
Ayew has scored eight goals in 63 Championship appearances for Leicester and Aston Villa.
He also featured for both clubs in the Premier League along with spells at Crystal Palace and Swansea.

Meanwhile, his 122 caps for Ghana are an all-time record for the national team.
Across those appearances, Ayew has scored 33 goals for the Black Stars, the fourth-highest in their history.
