Joe Flacco mercilessly roasts Shedeur Sanders in behind-the-scenes clip from Quarterback Season 3
Season 3 of ‘Quarterback’ was released on Netflix, and showed an eye-opening conversation between Joe Flacco and Shedeur Sanders.
In 2025, Flacco signed with the Cleveland Browns as they were the only team willing to give him a chance to start.

Cleveland proceeded to select two quarterbacks in the NFL Draft, Dillon Gabriel in the third round, and Shedeur Sanders in the fifth – ending his dramatic draft slide.
It was a move that left the veteran annoyed, as he took his frustration out on Shedeur in particular.
In Episode 2 of the Netflix series, a conversation between the quarterbacks about Shedeur’s helmet visor gave an indication as to how Flacco felt about his presence.
“You got the mirror visor on again?” Flacco said to Shedeur.
“You know Shedeur doesn’t have the clear visor, he has the mirror visor,
“If you wear a visor… it’s for look, you think you look sweet,
“I would never let my son wear a visor,” a member of the Browns coaching staff added.
“Yeah, they f****** suck dude. It’s all about look. When I was a kid I wanted a visor too.”
“So you not gonna let your kids wear a visor?” Shedeur asked.
“I would let them wear it bro, but I would tell them ‘you’re a f***** quarterback bro wearing a visor, you look like a f****** idiot.

“If you’re a quarterback [wearing a visor] you can tell you are trying to look too sweet.”
“But I like my mirror one,” Shedeur added.
“I get it, I get it, let’s get a win first and then I’ll put a visor on,” Flacco responded.
What happened to Flacco and Sanders after visor conversation
After being benched by the Browns, Flacco would end up being traded to the Cincinnati Bengals, after Joe Burrow required surgery on a Grade 3 turf toe injury.
With Burrow on the sidelines, Flacco went 1-5 with some highlight-reel moments throwing to Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.
Shedeur on the other hand made his way to the top, starting the final seven games of the season for the Browns.

The son of Hall-of-Famer Deion threw for 1,400 yards with seven touchdowns and led Cleveland to four wins — but his starting position is not guaranteed.
Sanders is currently locked in an intense battle with Deshaun Watson to be named starter for 2026.
The second-year quarterback’s priority will simply be winning games to secure his place as the starter.
As for Watson, it’s about reestablishing his reputation after not being on the field for a snap since 2024.
