The final event of the PGA Tour before the Masters belongs to J.J. Spaun.

The reigning U.S. Open winner claimed his third career victory in San Antonio, and amazingly his second in the Alamo City.

Sometimes things can wind up funny like that in golf. Some players just have a knack for certain courses and it would appear that Spaun is quite comfortable at TPC San Antonio.

It is incredible to think back to this time last year for Spaun. He had yet to break through at the U.S. Open obviously, but he had challenged early in the season in pushing Rory McIlroy to a playoff at the Players.

J.J. Spaun Career Victories

  • 2022 Valero Texas Open
  • 2025 U.S. Open
  • 2026 Valero Texas Open

Time will tell if Spaun’s form continues at Augusta National. With it officially being Masters week the stories are all over the place and J.J. would surely like to be someone who won the week before and the week of.
