Jessica Alba, Leonardo DiCaprio glow as Lakers are swept by Thunder

Once, Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio was at a Los Angeles Lakers game as they were swept by the Oklahoma City Thunder, as was the iconic Jessica Alba.

Among the celebrities at Game 4 were DiCaprio, Alba, Sean Penn, Eddie Murphy, and Kevin Connolly. DiCaprio and Penn recently starred in Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another.

If they were rooting for the Lakers, they likely left disappointed. The Lakers are now eliminated from playoff contention in what could be LeBron James’ last season.

Game 4 was the closest of the series between the Lakers and the Thunder, but they still got swept

While Los Angeles finally hung with OKC, it wasn’t enough to pull off the upset. The Lakers lost Game 4 115-110, marking their fourth loss in a row, and were swept by the opposition.

Austin Reaves and James did their best to win the game. The former scored 27 points, and had seven rebounds and six assists. James scored 24 points and had 12 rebounds.

It wasn’t enough to stop the reigning NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who scored 35 points and had eight assists. Ajay Mitchell also contributed 28 points.

The Thunder now await their opponent in the Western Conference Finals. The Minnesota Timberwolves and San Antonio Spurs’ series is tied 2-2. Whoever wins will face the Thunder with a trip to the NBA Finals on the line.

This is the second year in a row that the Thunder are in the Western Conference Finals. In 2025, they beat the Timberwolves in five games to advance. If Minnesota is able to pull out the win against the Spurs, they will have a chance to avenge their loss from last year.

OKC went on to face the Indiana Pacers in the NBA Finals. While it would take seven games, the Thunder would win their first championship since 1979.
