Jason Kelce unloads on Cleveland announcer after Travis Kelce mistake, ‘do your research’
The Kelce brothers grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio and have always re-paid the community they were raised in.
Travis Kelce recently made his presence felt in the Cleveland area, purchasing a stake in the MLB’s Cleveland Guardians.

Travis and fiancee Taylor Swift were also in attendance for Game 3 of the NBA‘s Eastern Conference finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks.
However, on their the New Heights podcast, Jason slammed the Cavs announcer for continuously getting Travis’ birthplace wrong.
“The one thing I was pissed off about was the f****** announcer said you’re from Shaker Heights,” Jason said.
“God damn it, do your goddamn research… that I went on Twitter that I saw, the guy says Shaker Heights, and I was like, you son of a b****, you got no idea.”
Travis defends viral beer-chug
Despite the Cavs being down in the fourth quarter, Kelce sought to bring some much-needed energy into the arena and was captured on the jumbotron chugging a can of Garage Beer that he and Jason co-own.
The stunt drew mixed reactions on social media, but Travis has since doubled down and explained why he felt it was appropriate in that situation.
“You f****** classless. You’re a role model, Travis!” Jason joked. “You cannot be out there chugging beers in public!”
“It was a classy chug, Jason! I didn’t spill one drop,” Travis replied. “I didn’t crush the can.”
“I’m on the hardwood floor at an NBA game. It could have got messy. It was a smooth, classy chug to get the people going.”

The Cavaliers ended up losing that game, 108-121. The Knicks went on to sweep the series and are now heading to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999.
Chris Simms responds to Jason’s NFL Schedule complaint
Former Eagles center Jason has been in the news recently after hammering the NFL for playing too many games on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
“Sunday is like where so many games happen, and that’s what you grow up in,” Jason said on last week’s edition of New Heights.
“You gear your entire week around watching football on Sunday… with every day that we keep adding in there, we’re getting away from that just a little bit… I worry that we’re getting away from that.”
However, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Chris Simms has shrugged Kelce’s criticisms, who himself has a $100m media deal with Amazon and helps feed the media beast.
“Eight games sounds like music to my ears,” Simms said on NBC’s Pro Football Talk.

“We want 12 games on that we can’t really see any of them, so we watch what, two out of the 11 that are on?
“I don’t want seven games at 1 p.m. I can’t watch it all. There’s no way. It’s stupid.”
