Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart notch playoff career-bests in Knicks’ Game 2 rout of Cavs
Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart played tag team as they enjoyed career feats in the New York Knicks’ 109-93 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Thursday night.
Going into Game 2, Brunson and the Knicks were coming off an incredible comeback win in Game 1. They were down 22 points in the fourth quarter before dominating Cleveland for the remainder of the period and overtime to secure the series-opening win.
This time, New York made sure not to be the team trailing double-digits down the stretch. And that was thanks to quality performances from Brunson and Hart.
In 40 minutes of action, Brunson finished with a stat line of 19 points, a career playoff high 14 assists and three rebounds. As for Hart, he produced a career playoff high 26 points, seven assists, four rebounds, and two steals in 33 minutes on the court.
