LIV Golf Indianapolis: Three selections and picks for season finale
LIV Golf Indianapolis is the final event of the 2026 season, with news that the Team Championship has been cancelled emerging recently.
As such, the Individual champion and Team champion will be celebrated at Chatham Hills, which hosts this tournament for the second successive year.
Jon Rahm has already been confirmed as the individual champion after yet another strong season. in doing so, makes it three consecutive individual titles since making the move to LIV ahead of the 2024 season.
Sebastian Munoz won the first staging of this event last year, defeating Rahm in a playoff.
The Spaniard is 8/1 to win this event, trailing Bryson DeChambeau (6/1) and Joaquin Niemann (7/1) in the outright market.

LIV Golf Indianapolis Tips
Joaquin Niemann to win @ 7/1
Branden Grace to win and each-way @ 20/1
Harold Varner III to win and each-way @ 28/1
Niemann to back up LIV Golf New York victory
Niemann hasn’t quite managed to replicate his form from last year, where he secured five individual victories, into 2026.
Indeed, heading into the New York event, the Chilean had just one victory to his name all season. That changed in the Big Apple, however, as Niemann shot rounds of 64-65-70-69 to win by three at Trump National.
He is very much a confidence player and this should stand him in good stead heading into Indianapolis.
Niemann ranks third in the standings for birdies per round this season (4.61) and fifth for greens in regulation (72.73%).
Last year, he finished fourth at this event, shooting 64-66-66 across the three days. Expect him to do better this time around.
Branden Grace can challenge for first LIV victory in four years
Grace won the second-ever LIV Golf event in Portland back in July 2022, but he hasn’t won on the circuit since.
There have been numerous close calls, including nine top-five finishes, but the South African hasn’t managed to quite get over the line.
His worst finish in 2026 was in Singapore, failing to crack the top-30, but at LIV New York, Grace finished in a tie for ninth.
A final round 66 vaulted him up the leaderboard and this will give him a jolt of confidence heading into Indianapolis, where he performed well last year.
His tie for fourth was Grace’s best result in 2025, finishing at 17-under for the tournament. The South African is more than capable of doing better than that this year.
Harold Varner III trending in the right direction
At LIV Golf UK, Harold Varner III finished in a tie for seventh, yet he was still 17 shots behind Lucas Herbert, who won the tournament.
In New York, Varner III once again finished 13-under, this time, however, he secured second and trailed Niemann but just three shots.
What should have been a tighter contest was characterised by the American failing to light up Trump National on Sunday, going round in 70 compared to the 65 he shot on Saturday.
His only prior LIV Golf victory came in the United States (Washington DC in 2023) and he enters the final competition of the year buoyed by his last two outings.
