Jake Paul claims boxing is tougher than NFL with bonkers Patrick Mahomes example

A popular internet celebrity and successful boxer, Jake Paul, recently announced the merger of his MVP [Most Valuable Promotions] with MMA promotion PFL. A celebrated boxer himself with multiple high-profile wins, Paul is now eager to explore a career in MMA and the NFL.

Vocal about his NFL aspirations for several months, Paul recently raised his level by taking a major dig at the sport. Calling boxing tougher than the NFL, Paul proceeded to share a surprising Patrick Mahomes example.

During a recent appearance on The Pivot Podcast, Paul claimed to NFL veterans Ryan Clark, Fred Taylor, and Channing Crowder that he could easily become a pro football player at the age of 29 even without playing it previously, a claim his elder brother Logan Paul had also made. “I bench more than all of you, guaranteed, and that’s just like right now. And I don’t even practice bench pressing. I’ll squat more than all of you. I’m faster than all of you, like actually,” Paul claimed while bragging about his athletic skills.

“The Problem Child” later uploaded a social media post where he continued boasting his skills and calling boxing a tougher sport than the NFL. “Not a single NFL player could last 2 rounds in a professional boxing ring,” Paul said. “Meanwhile I can catch a touchdown pass tomorrow in the NFL with 0 training. Patrick Mahomes ‘Run a 10 yard out’ Me ‘Okay’ Patrick sends me perfect pass and I catch it lol what are we talking about here?” he finished.

While many doubted Paul’s skills as a boxer, he proved them wrong with his hard work and drive to succeed. Paul is currently 12-2 as a pro boxer, having lost to just Tommy Fury and Anthony Joshua, following which he had to undergo two surgeries.
