Jacob Misiorowski dazzles baseball world with 10-straight 100 mph pitches
On Friday, the Milwaukee Brewers faced off against the New York Yankees in the first of a three-game series. Jacob Misiorowski, who just came off a hamstring injury, was the starter.
The right-hander pitcher redefined dominance with an incredible 10 straight 100 mph pitches, per Rob Friedman of FanDuel Sportsbook. All of which came in the first inning. He clocked his fastest pitch at 103.6 mph. Fans immediately took to social media to express their awe at Misiorowski, per Jeff Passan of ESPN.
One user claimed that Misiorowski is missing a gear despite this level of dominance.
“He’s losing velocity consistently, so they should be good in an inning.” @NYSportsManiac posted on X, formerly Twitter.
Another user compared his fastball to that of Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan.
“The closest thing I have seen in a fastball to Nolan Ryan” @SemperRaw posted on social media.
Then, another fan made the prediction that Misiorowski was destined to end up in Beantown one day.
“I know a future Red Sox when I see one.”
Since his rookie season of 2025, Misiorwoski has emerged as one of the most effective young pitchers in the league. He is known for his strong delivery, high velocity, and whipping fastball. Along the way, wowing everyone with that rare trifecta. On April 29, Misiorwoski passed Tarik Skubal in the record books with a 102.6 fastball against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
He is currently 2-2 with a 2.84 ERA and 59 strikeouts in seven games started.
Meanwhile, the Brewers are 19-16, in 4th place in the National League Central.
