How Dodgers’ Mookie Betts played in Star Wars-themed OKC rehab appearance
The Los Angeles Dodgers are currently without star Mookie Betts, who is on a rehab assignment. Betts is suiting up for the Triple-A Oklahoma City Comets. He played on Saturday, in a Star Wars-themed game for that club.
Betts was seen rocking a Boba Fett inspired jersey.

Betts had a productive night for Oklahoma City. He has been dealing with an oblique strain.
“Mookie Betts went 1-for-2 with a walk and a single tonight in Triple-A Oklahoma City,” the account Dodgers Insider posted to X, formerly Twitter.
The Dodgers are expected to have Betts back in the lineup soon. His game appearance in Triple-A Saturday is supposed to be his final rehab start, before his return.
“Feel good with his timing, build up some endurance with playing defense, the running piece. And hopefully he gets tested where he doesn’t feel anything,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said about Betts’ rehab assignment objectives, per MLB.com. “That’s about it.
“I do think that once he gets back … we’re not going to run him out there every single day. There’ll probably be a couple of days that we kind of get reintroduced to playing a lot, but yeah, that’s it. I’m going to count on Mookie, but as long as he’s healthy, then we’re better with him, certainly.”
Los Angeles is leading the National League West this season, as the team searches for a third consecutive World Series title. The Dodgers play the Atlanta Braves on Sunday.
The team is 24-15 on the campaign. Los Angeles has six losses in their last 10 games.
