Hailee Steinfeld reveals how she and Josh Allen celebrated 1-year wedding anniversary

Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen marked their first wedding anniversary with a low-key celebration centered on family, reflection, and meaningful traditions.

In her newsletter, Steinfeld shared that the couple spent the evening at home, enjoying dinner at their dining room table while their daughter sat between them in a bouncy chair, per Substack. The menu included tortilla soup, homemade mushroom pappardelle, and gooey butter cake, one of their favorite desserts.

The pair also revisited memories from their relationship by watching their wedding video and scrolling through old photos. Steinfeld said they spent time discussing favorite dates, special moments, and how much their lives have changed over the past year.

A Paper-Themed Anniversary

Following the traditional first-anniversary theme of paper, Steinfeld and Allen exchanged thoughtful gifts. She gave the Buffalo Bills quarterback a custom deck of playing cards featuring a wedding photo, while Allen surprised her with framed wedding pictures they had been meaning to display for months.

The couple also wrote anniversary cards to one another. Steinfeld, who said writing notes is one of her love languages, felt the gesture carried extra meaning because of the paper theme.

Reflecting on the milestone, Steinfeld noted the contrast between their wedding day on May 31, 2025, and their anniversary one year later. Instead of celebrating as newlyweds surrounded by friends and family, they spent the evening at home with their daughter, revisiting memories and appreciating how much life had evolved in just 12 months.

By the end of the night, Steinfeld said she found herself tearing up as she reflected on the journey she and Allen have shared.
