Giants’ Abdul Carter dismisses rumors of tension with Jaxson Dart after Donald Trump introduction

With New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart being called out by teammate Abdul Carter for introducing President Donald Trump at an event on Friday, it appears the two players talked over it. As some thought there could have been locker room division on the Giants due to political differences, Carter took to social media to downplay everything.

Carter posted to X, formerly Twitter, that he and Dart “are good” and they spoke about the events that took place, even saying that people can “keep y’all narratives.”

“Me & JD6 are good! We spoke earlier as Men. Yall can keep y’all narratives,” Carter wrote on X.

It started with Dart introducing the president at a rally in New York on Friday, where he expressed gratitude for introducing the controversial political figure.

“Big Blue nation, it’s a pleasure to be here,” Dart said, after chanting the ‘Go, Big Blue!’ chant. “What an honor, what a privilege it is to be here and, without further ado, I’m grateful, I’m honored, I’m pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th president of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump.”

After the clip of Dart introducing Trump went viral, Carter would speak out and post to social media, challenging the video, even claiming that he thought it was initially “AI” or made by artificial intelligence.

At any rate, it appears that Dart and Carter have set aside their differences, as their main goal as 2025 NFL Draft picks for the Giants is to improve the team after finishing 4-13 last season, putting them last in the division.
