George Kittle steals Tyrese Haliburton’s beer at WWE WrestleMania 42
When it comes to WrestleMania in 2026, the pomp and circumstance matter almost as much – heck, maybe even more so – than what happens inside the squared circle.
Often compared to the Super Bowl of professional wrestling, WWE not only pulls out all of the stops with their in-ring matchups, including marquee matches like Cody Rhodes versus Pat McAfee and Roman Reigns versus Roman Reigns, but also in the form of celebrity guests, with John Cena signed on as the show’s host, and other “outsiders” like Pat McAfee, IShowSpeed, and Lil Yachty all involved in major storylines.
After watching Speed work the first match of the show, losing to the trio of LA Knight and The Usos before turning babyface on The Vision’s Austin Theory and Logan Paul, WWE used some time before the Unsanctioned Match between Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre to show the celebs in the crowd, including ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs, and 49ers tight end George Kittle, who downed a beer while wearing a “Stone Cold” Steve Austin as the crowd went wild.
But when the camera cut to another noted WWE fan, Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton, things got interesting. After posturing that he had a sore throat, Hali thought about chugging his own beer but opted against it, with Kittle capitalizing on that hesitation to take it down himself.

Fresh off an appearance at Joey Janela’s Spring Break with his college roommate, 1 Called Manders, will Kittle get any more action during WrestleMania weekend? For the 49ers’ sake, let’s hope the answer is a resounding no, as John Lynch wasn’t too pleased the last time Kittle got physical at the “Showcase of the Immortals.”
