They’re on a strong run of form against them both home and away and with the way they’re aiming for a top three finish, could prove too much for a Fulham side who’ve been tough to predict this season.

Fulham have won just once in their last five Premier League outings and have slumped down to 12th.

They’ve gone goalless in three of their last four as well, with the only win coming against almost relegated Burnley and even in that one had to win from 1-0 down.

Watkins strikes against Cottager again

Ollie Watkins has six goals in nine Premier League appearances against Fulham.

The Aston Villa striker has only scored more against Brighton (9) and Arsenal (7).

The England forward went on a bit of a goal drought this season compared to his usual high double figures but could find himself matching those kind of tallies with just a few more goals in the final four match weeks.

Fulham struggling for goals

Fulham have even failed to score in four of their last five Premier League matches, as many as in their previous 25 combined.

They’ve still had 71 shots over these five games but only scored three which is a conversion of 4.2%.

Villa on the other hand, scored four against Sunderland on Sunday, albeit while conceding three including two in the final five minutes before having to score a late winner.

They will be on the hunt for a strong defensive performance as they have had just two clean sheets in the Premier League in their last ten games.
